continued--2. almost exactly the same scenario as case 1. But this time my opponent is a very good loose agg player. he made 2 hero calls that night which truely impressed me. there is flush draw on the flop. I hit my double gutter str draw on the turn. He is betting big on the turn. I just flat quick call. on the river, no flush chance at all. he is firing again big.betting pre flop 20dollars each 3 way playflop 2 diamonds with an ace.i check. he bets 50 i call.turn i hit my double gutter. i check again he bets 125 i call. i use palm hitting table to check for both times.river blank out. i check in the dark. he bets 160. i said i raise after about 5 secs but without saying how much. i tanked about how much more money could i exact? he had 400 behind. i got him covered.one thing to mention, once i sit on a poker table. I try to develop some body language which could be 'translated' by good players. that night, i always use finger swing for checking when i have nothing. i use palm hitting the table when i have a draw. i showed my hands on both cases to purposely build a 'body language dictionary' for good players.in this case, my two checks could possibly be translated as flush draw. my dark check on the river also matches his 'translation'.He knows i am capable of betting big on a missed flush draw. cuz i did it on the same table that night. it failed and got called by sets. i said raise after short time to give him the expression that i am doing bluff again. cuz as a loose-agg player myself, i am more scared of long time tanked raise with pretended painful looking than shorter timed raise.i really tanked for long, said to both him and myself 'what could u have? ace or busted flush draw. Gotta be one or the other. ace should be a check here, man. ...... eh, u dunt have ace...... no, you dunt. no, u dunt.'then i did chip shuffling for 5 secs. then i pushed all my chips to the front. i put him allin.while pushing my 4 piles chips to the front, i destroyed 1 pile by my shaking hands. i gave me a glance to make sure he catches this 'hollywooding' action. good news is that he did. during the whole hollywooding, i show no emotion when betting except a little smile while talking to myself.hetanked for a bit, then said 'show me ur busted flush draw'. he called and lost.Summary, even tho i ended up with a good result. but i think i could do less talking to improve. wut u guys think? talking is way more risky than body language when u fight against a good player.
